If your lampshade is for a larger table or floor lamp, you will need a Shade Carrier.  
This attaches to the lamp base, and the lampshade sits on top.
This fitting will work for both BC and ES light fittings by using the provided Converter Ring.

Shade carrier height: 5”

This accessory is required for Tall Tapered lampshades, and Medium, Large and Oversized French Drum lampshades.
